Architect

Grimm + Parker is seeking an Architect to join our Charlottesville, VA Studio (Hybrid- flexible schedule). The Architect will focus on multi-family Residential projects. Participating in and at times leading in the planning, design, and coordination of projects to best meet client needs is what this role is all about!  The Architect would also be encouraged to become a guide and a mentor for architectural staff who might be earlier on in their careers.

Qualifications:

1. Professional Degree in Architecture, licensure preferred.
2. 5+ years’ experience as a Designer/Project Architect, must have experience on multi-family residential/mixed use projects.
3. Experience in all phases of design; feasibility/schematic studies through construction administration. Strong portfolio highlighting design skills preferred.
4. Proven Revit proficiency in producing Construction Documents.
5. Ability to work independently and as a collaborative team member.
6. Excellent interpersonal communication skills and ability to build rapport with clients, consultants, and staff.
