Architect/Project Manager Job Responsibilities
• Research, program, plan, design, and administer building projects for clients, apply knowledge of architectural design, construction detailing, construction procedures, zoning and building codes, and building materials and systems
• Produce conceptual plans, renderings, and associated documents
• Plan and program project(s); coordinate and integrate engineering elements for client review and approval
• Utilize computer-assisted design software
• Produce documents and specifications for permit and construction
• Working with (or as) a Project Manager, you may direct, supervise, and check activities of office staff engaged in preparing drawings and specification documents for the Programming, Schematic Design, Design Development, and Construction Document phases
• Provide assistance to owners and contractors during construction
• Work on multiple projects simultaneously
• Research and coordination of materials and products for project specifications
Work Hours and Benefits
• 40 hour work week, hours are somewhat flexible. Occasional remote working.
