Our award-winning New York City–based B-to-B media company has been publishing for 20+ years in the architecture and design edit space. 

The Role:

AN Media Group is seeking an experienced and dynamic Events Marketing Manager to lead our event planning, budgeting, and execution efforts. 

The Events Marketing Manager role sits within the AN Marketing Team. This position interfaces with the Marketing and Sales teams as well as company leadership to manage event planning, budgeting, and execution, as well as the development of our audience. They ensure that the event marketing strategy and goals are consistent with those of the organization. This role requires precise attention to detail, the ability to balance multiple tasks simultaneously, and the aptitude to see ideas through from concept to execution. The Events Marketing Manager has a comprehensive approach to the success of events across multiple touch points -- from conference planning and management to end-to-end event marketing strategy. This leader works alongside the senior management team to develop new revenue-driving ideas to help influence the financial growth of the business.

Events Marketing Manager | Responsibilities

Conference Management

  • Create and manage the annual calendar for 16+ live events and conferences
  • Track and manage annual production budgets for all events
  • Research, negotiate contracts, and secure spaces for conferences
  • Set up run of show and onsite management for events
  • Oversee venue logistics, scheduling, setup, vendor management, AV, catering, etc.
  • Support the team and contribute as needed to ensure successful events
  • Supervise the Media Marketing Assistant
  • Consistently update tracking spreadsheets and conference tasks 

Event Marketing Strategy

  • Participate marketing team initiatives to drive event registration and success
  • Provide insights to improve email, social media, and audience development campaigns
  • Assist in planning non-conference, branded special events
  • Manage and lead weekly zoom venue meeting

Required Skills

  • 2-5 years of event planning or marketing experience
  • Exceptional leadership and communication abilities
  • Proficiency in Excel and managing/reviewing budgets
  • Experience managing budgets and negotiating with vendors
  • Ability to work collaboratively and independently under tight deadlines
  • Extraordinary organizational and attention to detail skills
  • Experience managing multiple projects simultaneously
  • Proficiency in Google Suite and productivity tools
  • Interest in the architecture and design industry
  • Willingness to travel to conferences as needed
  • Experience with CVENT is a plus
  • Experience with Monday.com is a plus

Salary/Compensation

AN Media Group offers a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $70,000 based on experience, along with a comprehensive benefits package including 401(k) with company matching, health insurance options, generous time off, and summer Fridays.
